Welcome to KES2005

We are pleased to invite participation in KES2005 in Melbourne, Australia, the ninth conference in the tremendously successful KES conference series. The conference will consist of keynote and paper presentations, invited sessions and workshops, on the theory and applications of Intelligent Systems and related areas.

Previous KES conferences in Wellington, Oxford, Milan, Osaka, Brighton and Adelaide have made the annual KES meeting a notable event in the calendar of the intelligent system community, attracting up to 500 delegates. KES2005 promises to continue this tradition. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results, and discussion about them, leading to knowledge transfer and the synergetic generation of new ideas.
